How to bet correctly: fixing a win and zeroing a bet

1) Term base (simple mathematics)

Bank of session - the amount with which you enter.
Base Bet - a fixed share of the bank for 1 spin/purchase. Recommendations:
  • low/medium volatility: 0.8-1.5% Bank;
  • high/Bonus Buy: 0.3-1.0% Bank.
  • Stop-loss (SL) - session loss limit: − 20-40% Bank.
  • Stop-win (SW) - profit target: + 40-100% Bank.
  • Profit Lock (PL) - instant fixation of part of the profit by transferring "out of the game" (output/separate wallet). Basic: 50-80% of the achieved profit.
  • Trailing SW - "moving stop wine": we record at least 50-70% of the peak profit of the session.

💡Expected consumption/hour ≈ Rate × Spin/hour × (1 − RTP) - the rate is as important as the rate.

2) Why do you need a "reset" (zeroing) bet

Backs are independent: after winning, the chances do not grow.
The main threat is to give everything back due to euphoria and an increased rate.
Nullification of bet = return to Base Bet (or minimum bet) after profit/peak fixing, rather than continuing to play "on" a warmed-up bet.

3) Single session algorithm (universal)

1. Set Bank, Base Bet, SL, SW, time to first spin.
2. Play Base Bet only (no dogons or auto-boosts).
3. Reached SW or major peak →

PL: withdraw/transfer 50-80% of current profit;
include Trailing SW = max (SW, 0.5-0.7 × peak);
reset the bet to Base Bet (if raised) or reduce to a minimum on "farewell backs."
4. Rollback below Trailing SW → stop. SL reached or stop → time expired.

4) Fixation and zeroing models (select below the style)

Model A: "Hard Hold" (safest)

Any profit ≥ + 40-60% Bank → PL 60-80%, full yield.
The rate never changes.
Plus: maximum stability. Minus: you miss rare "finishing touches."

Model B: "Trailing Profit"

At each new peak, update Trailing SW = 60% of the peak.
Fall below Trailing SW → stop.
After the peak - resets bets to Base Bet.
Plus: gives a chance to "ride" on the series; minus: requires discipline.

Model C: "Profit-only ladder"

Base: Base Bet.
After fixing PL ≥ 50%, it is allowed to increase the rate only by the share of the remaining profit (e.g. + 25-50% to Base Bet).
Any drawdown below Trailing SW → stop and resell rates to Base Bet or minimum.
Never raise the rate because of a loss.

5) Adjustment for mechanics

Megaways/Cascading

Volatility is high. Base Bet: 0,3–1% Bank.
SW: + 60-100%, Trailing SW: 50-60% of peak.
After a long "ladder" in the bonus - PL 60-80% and resets rates (repetition is rare).

Hold & Win (frequent mini rounds)

Volatility is average. Base Bet: 1–1,5% Bank.
SW: + 40-60%, Trailing SW: 60-70% of peak.
If there are no upgrades/jackpots, do not "overheat" the bet; fix at the first adequate peak.

Bonus Buy

Play in series of 5-10 purchases. Unit-Risk:
  • moderate ox: 1-2% Bank/purchase;
  • high ox: 0.5-1%.
  • SW series: + 60-100% of the series budget; SL batches: − 20-35%.
  • After the proficient series - PL ≥ 60%, resets the purchase price to base/minimum or exit.

6) How to count the "safe" bet after the peak

Let Peak = + P (in bets), Bet = b.
In order not to "give up" more than Trailing SW, the ceiling of attempts at the current bet:
  • $$
  • N_{\max} \approx \frac{P - ext{Trailing SW}}{b}
  • $$

If $ N _ {\max} $ is small (≤50 -100 spins), reset the bet to Base Bet or exit.

7) Practical scenarios

Scenario 1 - "Caught a Bonus × 250 on Megaways"

Bank 300, Base Bet 0,8% (=2,4). Peak + 240.
Action: PL 70% (= + 168 per lead/out), Trailing SW = 60% peak (= + 144).
It remains "inside the game" + 72. The rate of resets to Base Bet (2.4) or lower.
Rollback to + 144 → output (+ 144 minimum recorded).

Scenario 2 - "Saw on Hold & Win, a Small Plus"

Bank 200, Base Bet 1,2% (=2,4). Peak + 80.
PL 60% (=+48), Trailing SW = +48.
Continue another mini-cycle on Base Bet; rollback to + 48 → output.

Scenario 3 - "Bonus Buy Series, One Fat Buy"

Series budget = 60 × purchase price, Unit-Risk 1% bank/purchase.
Batch peak + 100% budget → PL ≥ 70%, price resets to base or batch completion.

8) What absolutely not to do

Raise the rate "to fight back" after the minuses (dogon).
Increase the bet after winning without PL and Trailing SW.
Postpone fixation "for a couple more spins."
Cut lines instead of rate cut/line.
Ignore time limit and SL.
Cancel withdrawal requests (enable Withdrawal Lock if available).

9) Pre-start checklist (1 minute)

1. Bank, Base Bet, SL, SW, time recorded.
2. The fixation mode is selected: A (hard), B (trailing), C (profit ladder).
3. Mechanical settings: bet share and SW/Trailing SW thresholds.
4. Exit plan: at SW/Trailing/SL/time - stop without exception.
5. Included tools: Reality Check/Session & Loss limits/Withdrawal Lock.

10) Frequent questions (short)

Do I need to raise my bet after PL? No, it isn't. Allowed only in model C and only from the remaining profit, in small steps.
When to reduce to a minimum? After a large peak in highly volatile slots or when $ N _ {\max} $ according to the formula from § 6 is small.
Is it possible to "finish the game at a minimum" after SW? Yes, but only with Trailing SW and PL already done.

Conclusion

The right rate is a fixed base share of the pot, not a "reaction to emotion." The win must be immediately partially fixed (Profit Lock), include Trailing SW and reset the bet to base/minimum after the peak. Under high volatility - a smaller share of the rate and a higher SW; under frequent mini-features - softer thresholds. The discipline of fixing and resetting does not increase RTP, but dramatically reduces the risk of giving back profits and makes your sessions manageable.
